As a natural extension of his award-winning stage career, Michael blended the lecture platform with a theatrical element in his ground-breaking work on the Shakespeare authorship controversy,Sherlock Holmes and The Shakespeare Mystery, which received The Shakespeare Authorship Studies Conference Award from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon in 2003.

Performed at colleges, high schools, and conferences throughout the United States and in Europe, this unique mode of theatrically compelling lecture/Q&A led to Better Angels - The Healing of America, which is set to debut in Colorado in the Spring of 2019.

Michael's riveting portrayals of Charles Dickens in a one-man storytelling tour-de-force of the beloved classic, "A Christmas Carol" received standing ovations throughout the United States.
